Our Chapter

Our 2023 Chapter consisted of 76 pilgrims! We are hoping to grow the number of pilgrims we bring down for 2024. We want to save our souls through walking on our soles. Please join us! It truly is an amazing experience!

The 2024 Chapter leader is Jason Petrucelli. Along with his wife Elizabeth they would like to meet each and every pilgrim to help you feel comfortable on this experience. We know it can be scary and daunting to sign up for this and there are parts of the unknown we cannot take away; however, we are here for you and your family to help you understand what to expect and how to prepare.

For more information about the Three Hearts Pilgrimage, please visit their website, as this website is specific to the chapter of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Every chapter has a security lead. The 2024 Security lead position is open. Please let us know if you would like to help keep our chapter safe by inquiring.

To register for the pilgrimage, you will need to go to the official Three Hearts Pilgrimage website. Registration opened in March 2024. Please register early as last year they had to limit registrations. When you purchase your tickets, please indicate you are registering for the OLMC Chapter. Prior to August, we ask that you reach out to us to tell us you have registered as we do not receive updates from Three Hearts until near the end of August. If you do not hear from us, please contact us here.

The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapter will rent 15-passenger vans for pilgrim travel. In order to save a seat on our vans, you must be registered with the official Three Hearts Pilgrimage. You do not have to utilize our transportation. You can drive to Three Hearts on your own if you prefer. We have many pilgrims join from out of state and meet us at the pilgrimage as well. Look for our Chapter flag and you will find us!

We hope you will join us for the 2024 pilgrimage! Use the button below to inquire.

Experience

Jason and Elizabeth attended the 2022 pilgrimage with zero experience and little walking preparation. Depending on your health, you may need more or less preparation. We are here to help you along the way! After having attended the 2023 pilgrimage with some training; which consisted of one 3-4 mile walk at a 3.5mph pace weekly for 6 weeks, this definitely helped.

Let’s Meet

Jason would love to meet for coffee to share about his pilgrimage experiences and encourage you to join us. We also have informational meetings in the months leading up to the pilgrimage. He can also meet at OLMC after High Mass! Just reach out and let us know!
